Campout-Memorial Weekend

We got to go up to Turner Falls, OK over Memorial Weekend in May and we had such a fantastic time.   Grandpa Russell and Grandma Jeanette came, as well as Aunt Kiki, Aunt Erin's family and the Axelson family from our ward.  We had so much fun!

Kaden would have stayed in the river the entire time if I would have let him, but he had to be supervised so he did enjoy some time at the campsite as well.

Madyson loved the water but was a little hesitant, which was fine with mom.

Mady loved the campsite though and loved exploring.  Here she is with her friend Phoebe Axelson, who is 3 years old. 

Sarah got to go up with Aunt Kiki and Grandma the day before(Thursday) to help save a campsite.  She had such a great time with them and we were all grateful because that place was swamped with people by Saturday.

Valerie was just as amazing camping as she is at home.  She was sooo sooo good and love every minute!

Valerie-6 months old

Our sweet little Valerie is already 6 months old.  These are the pictures I had taken on May 21st, the day she was 6 months.  She does look so much like Sarah, but I think her 6 month picture is most like Kaden's.  If you look close, you can tell she and Mady are related, but they are pretty different.  We are so happy to have her in our family.

Sarah's Fun 5th Bday!

Sarah was so excited to turn 5 and she had a great day!  She took doughnuts to her classmates at school and came home with her bday balloon and pen.  Then she played with her sister Mady a lot.  I let her open her gift from Grandma Cook and bday card from Grandma Joyce before the party that night.  We had all the family and neighborhood friends over for cake and ice cream.  She had a happy day!

Dad was too busy to make the cake this year so mom got permission to fill in for him.  Sarah helped and here she is with her very pink strawberry cake!

The next morning after school we went to the store and she bought her lala-loopsy mermaid doll with the $ she received from Grandma Joyce!  They had to go back to the store room to get it and she was so happy when they brought it out.

Petting Zoo/Party

A couple of weeks ago the Wales had a block party and Aunt KiKi brought the petting zoo out to their house.  It was so much fun for the kids.  Mady didn't ever really go in, but loved watching.  It took Sarah a minute to go in, but once she was in she never came out.  Kaden was in there from the start and ended up having a pig bite and a severe allergies...but he loved it!  Thank you Aunt Erin and Kiki!
