Levi Blessed-8/10/14 and Brandon ordained a High Priest-8/17/14

We have had a very exciting month at church with Levi's blessing on Sunday, August 10th and on August 17th, a week later, Brandon was called to be in our ward's bishopric as the 2nd counselor.  In order to be in the bishopric you must be ordained to the office of High Priest.  As Brandon was an Elder at the time, he was also ordained that day by his dad, Russell Glen Hauth to the office of High Priest and then set apart as the 2nd counselor in the bishopric by the 1st counselor in our Stake President, Pres. Brent Argyle (he and his wife were in charge of the pioneer trek this year and Brent was over Brandon, so we know them well.)  It was a very neat experience.  I have had a lot of people offer to sit with me and help with the kids, as Brandon will now be sitting on the stand every Sunday.  We know this is going to be a great sacrifice, but we already have felt very blessed and know the Lord will continue to bless our family.

Kaden is 9!

We had a wonderful party with friends and family Saturday celebrating kadens birthday. And today we enjoyed spoiling him after church with yummy food. Kaden is such a sweet boy. He is kind and loving and a great example to his sisters and baby brother. Kaden is not too excited about starting 3rd grade tomorrow but I know he will be a leader and friend to many. Happy 9th birthday kaden! We love you!

 

Grandma Joyce's visit

We had such a grest visit with grandma Joyce a couple weeks ago. She got to hold Levi and we all enjoyed visiting. It was so nice. We also all fell in love with Levi's new teddy bear she brought him, who we later named Sam.
