Sarah's Fun 5th Bday!

Sarah was so excited to turn 5 and she had a great day!  She took doughnuts to her classmates at school and came home with her bday balloon and pen.  Then she played with her sister Mady a lot.  I let her open her gift from Grandma Cook and bday card from Grandma Joyce before the party that night.  We had all the family and neighborhood friends over for cake and ice cream.  She had a happy day!

Dad was too busy to make the cake this year so mom got permission to fill in for him.  Sarah helped and here she is with her very pink strawberry cake!

The next morning after school we went to the store and she bought her lala-loopsy mermaid doll with the $ she received from Grandma Joyce!  They had to go back to the store room to get it and she was so happy when they brought it out.

Petting Zoo/Party

A couple of weeks ago the Wales had a block party and Aunt KiKi brought the petting zoo out to their house.  It was so much fun for the kids.  Mady didn't ever really go in, but loved watching.  It took Sarah a minute to go in, but once she was in she never came out.  Kaden was in there from the start and ended up having a pig bite and a severe allergies...but he loved it!  Thank you Aunt Erin and Kiki!

Happy 5th Birthday Sarah!

Our little girl is growing up.  Sarah turns 5 years old today.  Here are a few pictures of her from the past few months.  She has changed a lot this year.  When I went to wake her up this morning she was climbing down the bunk bed ladder and I went to carry her off and she said, "no mom, I don't need to be carried anymore."  We love her so much.  She brings such happiness to everyone around her, especially her family.  Have a great day Sarah!

Daddy daughter date for Valentine's Day

Sarah loves animals...anytime we see a dog at the park or on a walk she is always the first to ask if she can pet it.

Sarah is into so much right now... she loves to draw and craft!  She also loves red, pink, Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie, Hello Kitty, Angelina Ballerina, rainbows, butterflies, hearts, princesses...yeah she's ALL girl!  She loves having her ears pierced and her favorite earrings to wear are the dangling ones.  She really enjoys playing with her neighborhood girlfriends, her cousins and friends at church.  She is really enjoying her Pre-K class, but is already for Kindergarten next year.  She is always the one to volunteer to say the prayer or talk at church.  She has a lot of confidence and makes us very proud!

Day 1-Spring Break 2012

Fun 1st day of spring break... Played with Jeremy and Chase, went on walk and bike rides, played at park, dad surprised us the park, went shopping with girls, dinner with dad and made cookies. (pics to follow)

Valerie Daisy-3 months

This little lady is so much fun and the best baby ever!  She is such a happy little girl and we are enjoying every moment with her, which actually doesn't seem like a lot yet because she sleeps a whole lot...10-12 hours a night and 2-3 naps during the day.  She is a growing girl, that's for sure!  Here are the photos Aunt Erin took when she was just barely 3 months old.... so super cute!
